we use four pieces of tracking technology on our website. (although if you’re evaluating our site with a great app like Ghostery, you may notice that one of the tools we use, the Facebook pixel, loads a few different times.)
the first piece of technology we use is the aforementioned Facebook pixel. you can learn more about this tool and how it works here.
it’s not as clean of an introduction as we’d like to feature on our website, so we plan to write a little bit about how this powerful tool helps us to identify people who visit our website that also use Facebook products like Facebook, Messenger or Instagram. we also use a similar tool provided by the fine folks at LinkedIn.
the second piece of technology we use on our website is Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a tool we use to help us monitor the way our website is performing and where it is being accessed. this information helps us to understand how we’re doing at representing ourselves online. it also helps us to identify trends related to the types of people who are visiting us. this information can help us to craft content, identify opportunities for growth and help us to be more present to the people who depend on our products and services.

the third piece of technology we use on our website is called HubSpot.
HubSpot is a tool that helps us keep track of the people who are interested in purchasing our products or services. if you’ve received a proposal or signed up for our email list, we keep a record of that information in this tool. HubSpot is also used to power the red pop up bar you may have seen that invites you to sign up for our email updates. you can learn more about how it works here.
